Data Recovery SCSI

Disklabs provide state of the art Data Recovery Services across a host of hardware platforms. The Disklabs team of Data Recovery Technicians are trained in recovering data from almost every SCSI hard disk drive. Disklabs has access to specialised hardware and cutting edge software which the Disklabs technicians are fully trained in using. Disklabs is an ISO 9001 certified company and a member of the British Damage Management Association (BDMA) Special Interest Group.

Although SCSI hard disk drives share many similarities with both IDE and SATA hard drives, the actual drive interface is somewhat more complex. Additionally, SCSI hard drives are most normally used as part of a RAID array, meaning that data recovery tasks will need to encompass the entire RAID and not just a single drive.

Even the best specified RAID array is still prone to catastrophic failure in certain circumstances. Disklabs are able to rebuild a faulty RAID arrays by repairing and restoring the damaged data across one of more SCSI hard disk drives.
By identifying the faulty drive in the RAID array Disklabs will be able to perform a full data recovery process on the faulty drive, rebuilding corrupt data and system areas, before copying an image of the disk across to a fresh drive and rebuilding the RAID.

For single SCSI hard disk drives which are not part of a RAID setup, Disklabs will create an image of the disk which will be copied to the Disklabs servers. A trained data recovery technician will then interrogate a copy of the disk image and use specialised software tools to fix corrupted data and repair system areas of the SCSI hard disk drives.
In the case of a SCSI hard disk drive failure and data loss being caused by a hardware fault, the Disklabs team will strip the hard drive in the Disklabs dust free clean room and repair it using replacement components. Disklabs keeps over 20,000 separate hard drive parts on hand to ensure that almost every make and model of SCSI hard disk drive is on hand to expedite the recovery process.
